Shashi joined Aura Dental in 2017, moving to London to advance her rewarding dental career and bring her passion for patient care to the capital. After graduating from The University of Edinburgh, she completed graduate-entry Dentistry, gaining broad clinical experience and ranking in the top 5% of UK dental students. She went on to complete her foundation training on the highly competitive Central London Scheme.
Across the past decade, Shashi has earned a strong reputation among patients and colleagues alike, developing a wealth of experience in adult restorative, periodontal, and paediatric dentistry. Known for her friendly, calm, and approachable manner, she has a natural ability to put anxious patients at ease and is regularly referred patients with dental anxiety and phobias. With a genuine love for learning, she continually expands her clinical knowledge through postgraduate courses, ensuring her patients benefit from the latest techniques and evidence-based care. She combines excellent manual dexterity with a strong artistic flair — recognised with her Art & Design Scholarship — to deliver precise, high-quality, and thoughtful care.
Outside of the surgery, Shashi enjoys arts and crafts, piano, travel, and sports such as cricket. She is also a semi-professional Bhangra dancer, having competed internationally and performed at festivals, weddings, and corporate events, bringing energy and creativity both on and off stage.
