Types of treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Aura Dental<\/strong>, we\noffer a wide range of Invisalign St John\u2019s Wood<\/strong>\ntreatments. We have Invisalign Express, which can achieve results for very\nminor movements with just 7 sets of aligners. We also have Invisalign Lite,\nwhich is designed to achieve results in as little as 4 months. Our regular Invisalign St John\u2019s Wood<\/strong> is a comprehensive treatment that can take\nbetween 6 to 18 months on average, and we also have Invisalign First for 6 to\n10 year olds. This treatment is aimed at addressing the initial jaw or arch\nalignments, ensuring that there is room for the adult teeth to come through and\nfor the milk teeth that are already there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does Invisalign work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clear aligners are made of plastic and are worn over the\nteeth, so that they are practically invisible to other people. They apply\npressure to the teeth to push them into the correct position. You will need to\nchange your aligners every couple of weeks and normally, after 6 weeks, you will\nneed to come and see us for a check-up. We ensure that your aligners are\ncomfortable to wear, thanks to them being made bespoke for your mouth. We get\nthe measurements of your mouth from a digital scan, which we then send to the\nInvisalign laboratory to have your aligners made for you specifically. We also\nuse ClinCheck technology to provide images of what your teeth will look like at\nvarious stages of your treatment, including by the end of it. This can be a\nhighly motivating experience to know what your teeth are going to look like,\nbefore you even get started on wearing your aligners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flexibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The great thing about Invisalign is the fact that you must remove the aligners when you are eating, as well as when you want to clean your teeth. This is advantageous, because it means that you can eat what you want and you won\u2019t need to clean your aligners after meals. You will also be able to clean your teeth thoroughly, reducing the risk of developing oral health issues. You could even have some time to remove them for other things, such as playing sports, as long as you have them in for 22 hours a day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
